Islanders and music lovers on Facebook can do a good turn for an Isle of Wight band this morning, by showing your support and clicking on a link (below).
The band are in the running for a slot at the alcohol and drug free music festival, Butserfest.
The event takes place in Waterlooville in September and Last Chance City, who are fresh from their Isle of Wight Festival performance on the Hey Joe stage, are hoping that OnTheWight readers will be able to help push their position in the competition up.

All you have to do is make sure you’re logged into Facebook and head over to the Butserfest voting page and select Last Chance City.
Of course, if you prefer another band, that’s down to you, but Last Chance City will be very grateful for your support.

The band consists of Max Cowley on lead vocals/keyboards; Toby Ouston on guitar/keyboards/backing vocals; Stafford Kurowski on guitar; Jacob Smith on bass guitar/backing vocals and Connah Newton on drums.
