Last day of Isle of Wight Film Festival, don’t miss out

One last reminder of some of the great things on offer today. If you haven’t treated yourself to any of the screenings at the Isle of Wight Film Festival, do try to see something today.

Grab from Dolly Parton film:From 10am-midday there is free entry on a first come first served basis to see what filmmakers on the Isle of Wight have to offer. Two hours of short films will be screened at The Sacred Cinema.

At 1pm The International Best Short Films selected by the IOW Film Festival will be screened. Programme two continues at 3pm and at 5pm, we’re treated to Fuji Short Films programme. Watch Short films short entirely on Fuji Film, judged by Oscar winning directors include films from as far afield as Morocco and the USA.

Another British Première
7pm sees the British Première of The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom, sponsored by On The Wight.

Elizabeth Alison Gray is just your average suburban 11-year old waiting for adolescence to arrive when she finds out her whole life has been a lie. With only her imagination to guide her, she runs away to find the truth.

The film has received high praise from Dolly Parton herself.

Tickets are just £5 and the screening starts at 7pm.
