Helen Keller will be playing their last gig tonight at The Liquid Lounge in Union Street, Ryde.
Last gig you say! Yes folks, sad news it is, but what with Tipper is heading to Exeter in the near future and Gareth leaving for the Surrey/London area at the end of the summer, this is the last chance the crew can all play live together.
Bands providing support for this momentus occasion include The Attika State. If you’ve not seen them play live before, check out their MySpace. Here’s what Big Cheese Magazine has to say about their album …
“Ambitious and frighteningly good. A sweeping, majestic piece of work… a shining example of all that is great and good in UK music right now. 4.5/5” (Album Review)
Also playing will be the bands who never tires of playing live, the fantastic Goodbye Stereo, MCMVII (who we admit we know nothing about) and the lovely Emily Jane.
It’ll cost you £3 to get in and doors open at 8pm. Over 18s only and better take our ID if you got one of those beautiful baby faces.
