Yes folks, tonight is the night.
That annual twinkling of lights through town is almost upon us. If you’re one of the 40 people who made a lantern, please assemble in Market Street car park at 6pm for a 6.15pm start.
If you didn’t make a lantern do come out and watch, it is a sight to behold.
The route will go along Albert Street, Pier Street, High Street, Victoria Road, Dudley Road, Pier Street again, Church Road, Belgrave Road and then into Ventnor Park.
At 7pm there are Carols in the Park with Shanklin Brass Band, mulled wine, mince pies and Father Christmas who might just have some presents to hand out to the little’uns.
