If you have an interest in the new secondary school for Cowes, whether it’s because you have children planning to attend or perhaps you run a club that will make use of the facilities, a meeting being held later in the month should be of interest to you.
All interested parties are invited to an open day where information about timescales, highways issues and possible locations for the new secondary school will be available.
We hear from the council that they’re oping to make a decision on the preferred bidder for the £35m-plus contract to build the school by mid-June.
Tuesday 25 May between 3pm and 7pm is the date for the diary, taking place at Cowes High School.
The new school will be run by the Cowes Pathfinder Partnership.
