A couple of weeks ago we reported on how Ventnorian, Lesley Brown, was planning to have her beautiful locks shaved off in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.
Well, Lesley went ahead with the challenge, dressed in her Union Jack catsuit, at Perks’ bar in Ventnor on Sunday 9th August.
Lesley had set her target at £500, but actually managed to raise over £1,415.
She had a “fabulous day” and said,
“Yet again, the Ventnor Community shine through!”
John and Heather Whatley from South Wight TV were there to film the shave and an interview with Lesley before and afterwards.
