I have followed with mixed emotions the developments of the local education system through re-organisation, and lately Ofsted judgements.
I have noted with satisfaction through your site, the success of Island youngsters, in Sports, The Arts, Maths achievements, group activities, business skills and now their successes in GCSE and A level exams; someone somewhere is working effectively, and supporting and encouraging all these young people.
Well done to all those committed and hard-working teachers/tutors at all levels in the Isle of Wight and to the supportive Parents/Carers, and not forgetting the achievements of the young people.
