And we’re off! The pre-election fear-mongering has begun, with Rishi Sunak Sunak proclaiming it is only the Conservatives who can protect Britain in an ever increasingly threatening world.
Yes, the Conservatives who have reduced our armed forces by a half over the last decade, and have progressively underfunded it year on year.
What they’ve done
A Government that has given away what few arms we have to Ukraine, without ensuring there’s a credible policy for replacement.
A Government with a nuclear deterrent that reportedly runs on Windows 98.
A Government that doesn’t keep reds under the bed, but is in bed with them, with their appointments to the Lords.
A ridiculous notion
Can there be any more ridiculous a notion that our Country is safe in the hands of this Conservative Government?
A Government that has sold off and stripped the Country for parts, leaving it on its knees. And now they’ve got the cheek to think voters are going to allow them to continue the rape and pillaging of our economy and infrastructure?

How they manage to keep a straight face with their delusional policy announcements totally beats me.
