After that excellent letter by Hans Bromwich yesterday, I’d just like to add that my granddaughter, although she was accepted by a college after really good A-level results, has decided she can’t afford to go to university.
The student loan will cripple her.
So she’s working in a local cafe and has given up her university place.
Rishi Sunak will never have to face a situation like that in his family.
