A big ‘Thank You’ to all the generous shoppers at Lake Morrisons who on Sunday (14th June) donated over £460 to Alzheimer’s Society.
This is enough to fund a PhD student’s research into the causes, new treatments and ultimately a potential cure for Alzheimer’s for ten days, or it could fund the online community to support those affected by Alzheimer’s for four days.
It was very moving to hear the number of stories of so many who have directly experienced the horror of this corrosive disease.
I am taking part in the Votwo Triathlon at Eton Dorney in July, anyone who would like to donate to the Alzheimer’s Society can either do so directly, or through my JustGiving page
