‘Lights of Love’ service to pay tribute to lost loved ones on Isle of Wight

A special ‘Lights of Love’ service is to be held at the Isle of Wight Crematorium chapel for families and friends to remember loved ones they have lost.

The service, organised by the Isle of Wight council’s bereavement team, will be held at 6.30pm on Friday, 6th December 2024.

This will include the lighting of candles to commemorate loved ones, at what can be a difficult time of year.

All welcome.

Letters the Heaven
Whilst at the Crematorium, you can post letters to lost loved ones in the new white post box.

As reported by OnTheWight on Wednesday, a new service spearheaded by Councillor Karen Lucioni provides a means to help the young and older to “heal from grief and feel connected to those they miss”.
