The Overview and Scrutiny Committee meet tonight and there are a number of items being discussed that may be of interest to you, our dear readers.
We’re hoping to attend and report live, but don’t forget that members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings, which are held in Committee Room One at County Hall and start at 6pm sharp.
So what’s on the agenda?
You might remember the decision made under delegated powers a few weeks ago regarding mobile phone masts on Council buildings. The decision was called in by a number of councillors and will be discussed at tonight’s meeting.
Also on the agenda is the subject of Concessionary Bus Fares. We understand that Councillor Jonathan Bacon will be raising an issue in relation to the decision on the concessionary fares scheme made by the Cabinet last month.
There’ll be reports from the Cabinet Member for Resources and the Director of Resources on financial and budget strategies.
There’ll also be discussions on the Quarterly Performance, Risk and Strategic Programme Management Report which went to Cabinet earlier in the week and the Forward Plan will be reviewed.
