It’s with great surprise (because we thought it was no more) but also excitement to hear through the MySpace grapevine that Making Waves will be returning to Ryde Theatre in March.
There are five scheduled slots for Friday nights over the coming months and organisers are on the lookout for the most pro-active type bands, that care for their local scene on a real level, to come forward.
Once again there will be free recordings, live FM radio airplay on Glyn Taylor’s Live and Local Show (Sundays 7-10pm on 102/7fm), the use of this superb venue, stage and backline supplied.
This is the Island’s original and best night that put bands and saving a community building before profits!
