A 53-year-old man from Newport, who was arrested following the death of a woman on the Isle of Wight, has today (August 14) been released with no further action.
The body of Deborah Fowler, 45, was found at an address in Barton Road, Newport, on August 2, 2015.
Police investigated the circumstances surrounding the death and a Home Office post mortem was completed. The exact cause of death is not yet confirmed. Tests are continuing.
At this time, the death is being treated as unexplained and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this death.
