Emma Goldring, the Clerk for Bembridge Parish Council has been in touch with an update on the long-running issues surrounding work commencing on Marshcombe Shute, Brading.
She tells OnTheWight that Cllr Jonathan Bacon announced at the Annual Parish Meeting last night (5th May) the design for the works has been agreed, land ownership issues resolved and that the order has been placed to commence the works on Marshcome Shute.
Full road closure during works
According to the Clerk, a full road closure and resurfacing works will start on 26th May lasting two to three weeks including installation of the new barriers.
