Congratulations to award-winning beekeeper Mary Case, who was yesterday (Wednesday 13th March) officially appointed as the new Isle of Wight High Sheriff by Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Mary will take over from current Isle of Wight High Sheriff, Nick Hayward, who has done some great work in raising awareness for local charities and community organisations during his tenure.
Mary will officially step into the shoes of High Sheriff on 8th April 2013.
