The Style of Wight Homes and Interiors Show, which took place earlier this month, surpassed expectations.
Exhibitors and visitors were unanimous in their appreciation, marking the event as a noteworthy success.
A setting sun and exciting exhibits
The sun graced the event for its second year, casting a warm glow on both returning and new exhibitors.
A common sentiment echoed throughout was,
“It’s such a fabulous setting, and we had such a lot of interest last year.”
Sponsors McCarthy and Booker lauded the event as an excellent avenue to connect with clients, both old and new.
A diverse display at East Afton Farmhouse
East Afton Farmhouse emerged as the perfect backdrop for this versatile exhibition. The event had it all – from architects, holiday letting, and estate agents to bespoke tilers, upholsterers and bathroom fitters.
For those seeking that unique flair for their homes, commissioned artwork, special candles, hand-turned lamps, and thrown ceramics were on offer.
Moreover, the exterior was not left behind, boasting all-weather garden furniture, tabletop fire pits, quirky planters, and even golden dachshunds.
Indeed, every corner of the farmhouse and its grounds showcased an exquisite item.
Engaging events and gastronomic delights
As visitors made their way into the courtyard, the enticing aroma of toasting chestnuts wafted through the air.
Coffee connoisseurs had a treat with brews from Island Roasted. Demonstrations were aplenty, enlightening visitors on the perfect coffee brew and the art of making tempting canapes.
Masterclasses
Away from culinary delights, The Sewing Studio showcased sewing techniques while Neil Tregear from Tregear Pottery held pottery masterclasses.
For those seeking a touch of luxury, the Style of Wight VIP Lounge offered indulgent canapes paired with champagne.
Looking forward to the next edition
Organiser and Style of Wight Director, Christian Warren, expressed his satisfaction, stating,
“It was a great day. I can’t wait to do it again next year.”
