This coming Saturday (19th October), young children will be able to hear the wonderful tales of Mojo the friendly robot, for the first time, read by the author.
At 11am Medina Bookshop in Cowes will be covering the floor in cushions ready for an audience of under sevens as first-time author, Gareth Wokes, reads from a selection of his new series of books.
These delightful tales follow Mojo as he travels on his spaceship on various adventures: to the seaside, with the tooth fairy and meeting Woof the dog. Beautifully illustrated by the Isle of Wight’s own Zoe Sadler, kids of all ages will be charmed by these lovely little books.
Derived enormous pleasure from reading bed-time stories
Gareth says,
“My enthusiasm for writing children’s stories stems from the enormous pleasure I derived from reading bed-time stories to my own children.
“The nightly routine gave me quality time with my children and an opportunity to unwind after a busy day at the office.
“I hope these books help other parents to experience the same.”
