If you have an interest in the development of Ventnor seafront, here’s one you’ll probably want to know about.
Revised plans for the development of the Mill Bay Inn are currently open for public comment, but you only have until the end of this week to make your views known.
The original application raised many concerned voices from residents of Ventnor, including those living in The Metropole, adjacent to the site.
The most noticeable change to the application is the reduction of the western tower, which now brings it in line with the original artists’ impression.
Re-submitting comments
We contacted the council to find out whether those who’d left comments on the previous application needed to re-submit their comments for the revised version.
Having not heard back still, we can’t confirm whether this is absolutely necessary, but if you’re concerned about any aspect of the application, we’d advise re-submitting your comments.
