The power of the social media network came into its own today.
A 14 year old girl from Cowes was reported missing, not seen since 9pm last night.
News of the missing girl was shared widely on Facebook, within hours reaching 000s of people across the Island.
Thankfully, the girl is now reported to have been found safe and well at around 11am this morning.
