It was certainly a great Christmas for the primates at Monkey Haven this Christmas, as the happy residents enjoyed not only opening their presents, but also tucking into a traditional Christmas dinner.
The presents were gifted by supporters of Monkey Haven, via their Amazon Wishlist.

Wickes: A Christmas miracle of our very own
Kelly Wickes from Monkey Haven told News OnTheWight,
“We also had a Christmas miracle of our very own. Siamang, Xhabu suffered a stroke back in July and our carer team have been working around the clock trying to rehabilitate him back to health.
“After months of rest, rehabilitation, hard work and determination, Xhabu has finally been reintroduced back into the troop with his best friends, Bog, Kajan and Bono.
“We are overjoyed by his recovery and it is amazing to see him back with his friends.”
You can watch a video of Xhabu via Monkey Haven’s Instagram account.
