This in from Mary at The Needles Park. Ed
Earlier today (30th October) our Retail Supervisor Natalie Hyde participated in a head shave for two charities, Breast Cancer and MIND.
Natalie said goodbye to her hair at The Needles Park, cheered on by her family, friends, work colleagues and members of the public. She is hoping to raise £500 which will be split between both charities which are close to her heart.
Hair we go
Natalie is also donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust which provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Natalie said,
“I would like to thank Harriet Martin for providing her hairdressing services free of charge, my friends and family for there support, The Needles Park for hosting and supporting this event. Both of these charities are great causes.”
Natalie’s mum, Denise, said,
“She had such a fantastic head of hair and we are so proud of her losing it to raise money for charity.”
People still wishing to donate can do so via the Needles Park just giving page
