Best of luck today to Isle of Wight teenager, Natasha Lambert, who will be attempting to sail across the English channel controlling everything by mouth using a single straw through a ‘Sip & Puff’ system.
Tasha, who is severely disabled through Athetoid Cerebral Palsy, set off to the Marina at 5.30am this morning, well prepared for her cross-channel challenge, during which she aims to raise much needed funds for the RNLI, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and Wet Wheels charities.
“Anyone can achieve their dreams”
Back in September 2012, Tasha sailed single-handedly around the Isle of Wight, saying she wanted to show people that anyone can achieve their dreams.
The strength and determination Tasha has shown should be an inspiration to us all.
Please consider supporting Tasha’s challenge is you can. Find out more and donate here.
