The Island’s MP, Andrew Turner recently visited Lifeline Alarm Systems Ltd., based on the Riverway Industrial Estate in Newport, to hear about their plans for the future of the company and congratulate them on being awarded the Small to Medium Security Installer of the Year trophy at the National Security Excellence Awards ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton Hotel in London.
The award acknowledges the best in the security industry and is presented to an individual or company that has shown the highest standards of workmanship, professionalism and customer support throughout the year.
Mr Turner said, “In difficult times Lifeline Security has increased their business significantly and they attribute that success to the excellent reputation they have built up, over the last 20 or so years, for professionalism and good customer service. The directors have exciting plans for the future growth of the company and this prestigious award is yet another demonstration that the Island is home to industry leading companies across many sectors.”
Family-run business for 20+ years
Lifeline Alarms, a family run business, was founded in 1990 by directors Mark and Nathan Lee. It offers a complete range of security services to suit all types of premises from residential to large Industrial properties.
On winning the award, Mark Lee, Lifeline’s Managing Director said, “This is a massive achievement for us. I would like to dedicate our win to the hard working team that makes up Lifeline. I am mostly pleased though that quality has eventually won through. In difficult economic times so many competitors cut quality to reduce costs, but this is not the case at Lifeline. Commitment to quality and service will always be top of our priority list.”
