National Poo Museum: Make a trip to the museum this half-term

This February half-term the National Poo Museum, which is based in Sandown on the Isle of Wight, will be opening its doors for a special introductory week.

We had a quick tour of the Museum a few weeks ago by the founder, Daniel Roberts, and can confirm it’s absolutely brilliant.

Educational and fun
There are lots of fascinating facts about poo – not a subject we usually find ourselves interested in – and all presented in a colourful and fun way.

Kids will absolutely love this. There are knobs to twiddle, wheels to turn and even some pump and sniff quizzes.

Head to Sandown Barrack Battery (Battery Gardens – opposite the Heights Leisure Centre).

Spend a penny (or more)
Admission is absolutely free, but are donations gratefully received.

A huge amount of volunteer effort and money has gone into creating the Museum in the former public lavatories.

Opening times
The National Poo Museum will be open 11am-4pm Monday to Saturday, closed Wednesday.

See their Website for more information or visit their social media page.
