Naturezones unveils the 2025 Isle of Wight Wildlife Calendar photo competition winners

Naturezones, with the help of Isle of Wight wildlife photographers, has just launched its 2025 Isle of Wight Wildlife calendar.

Images in the calendar were chosen by public vote. However, everyone that submitted a photograph is represented in the calendar.

Winners
Winner of the first prize was John Adams with his Kingfisher in motion photo, Clare Jacobs was second choice with her photo of a barn owl on the hunt.

There were three runners up all with the same number of votes Deborah Hart whose squirrel is featured on the cover, Josh Thomas and his hungry robin, and Filip Pasieta’s macro wasp.

Angela Hewitt BEM, Naturezones’ Director said,

“We want to thank all the photographers for supporting our Wildlife Education charity with the beautiful images, we are truly grateful.

“We would also like to thank those businesses that sponsored the calendar.”

There is an exhibition of the photographs in the Naturezones Pavilion throughout August.

Calendars are £10.95 available from Naturezones or they can be purchased on line via the Naturezones website.
