Residents of Totland who do not have their own computers can now benefit from a free service being trialled by their local Parish Council.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Isle of Wight Rural Community Council (IWRCC) of £2,000, the Totland Parish Council have installed three computer workstations for residents to use at the Parish Office.
When and how?
Residents who do not have use of a computer or Internet access at home are invited to make use of the computers.
At the moment, afternoon sessions are available on a Monday and Thursday between 12-2pm.
The grant not only enabled the purchase of the computers, but also printers, software and even the tables and chairs.
Friendly open door policy at Totland
We’ve always been impressed with the open door policy at Totland Parish Council. New Town Clerk, Helen Gibbs is happy to answer questions from residents on Mondays-Thursdays between 9am to noon.
