HM Revenue & Customs’ (HMRC) public enquiry centre in Newport, Isle of Wight has moved to a new location. The enquiry centre is now situated at Broadlands House, Staplers Road, Newport, Isle of Wight. Jobcentre Plus are at the same site.
Moved to more central location
Bob Gaiger, of HM Revenue & Customs, said, “We have moved to a more central location in Newport and are pleased to be sharing the building with Jobcentre Plus. We look forward to welcoming people to our new enquiry centre office. Our opening hours are 10:00 – 15:30 on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.”
The HMRC enquiry centre will continue to provide free help and advice to local people and businesses on a whole range of services including: income tax, national insurance, tax credits, the Business Payment Support Service, VAT, pensions and self assessment along with many other topics.
It also offers support on how to complete forms and information about online services. Anyone wishing to make an appointment at their local enquiry centre should pre-book through the Taxes Helpline on 0845 300 0627.
