A nail salon in Newport, which has been open less than a year, has been selected as a finalist in three categories of the UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
Canvas10, founded and run by Ella Topping, has received recognition for its excellence in Best Gel Nails, Best Nail Salon, and Entrepreneur of the Year.
From humble beginnings
Ella founded the salon in 2023, starting from humble beginnings. She launched the salon by renting a desk and offering manicures for £5.
Within six months, she opened the salon’s own location, furnished with donations from Facebook Marketplace.
The salon has garnered widespread acclaim within the community and beyond. Ella’s vision, coupled with the talent and passion of her team, has propelled Canvas10 to the forefront of the Isle of Wight’s beauty industry.
