Wightlink have just announced that the FastCat service will only run until lunchtime today (Tuesday).
The last FastCat out of Ryde will be the 12.47pm and the last from Portsmouth will be the 12.15pm.
FastCat tickets will be valid on Hovertravel and the vehicle ferry.
Spike in Covid
Wightlink say the reason for the cancellations is due to a spike in Covid cases among their staff.

“We pride ourselves on being the most reliable cross-Solent operator so we are all very disappointed that rising numbers of Covid cases have now caused us to make these cancellations which will inconvenience our customers.
“The team is working round the clock to fill gaps in our rosters and to minimise the impact of absences. We apologise to customers for these unwelcome cancellations.”
