A prescription-collecting machine could be coming to the south of the Island.

Out of hours prescription collections
The secure dispensing system has been designed to help those who struggle to get to a pharmacy within its opening times, as prescriptions can be picked up at all times of the day.
Prescriptions are loaded into the machine and patients given a unique code to open the locker to retrieve their medication.
Usage instructions included
Instructions on how to use the locker will also be installed on the window to help patients.
If permission is granted, it could be installed in March, planning documents say,
The pharmacy chain already has a locker installed in its Cowes branch.
