It’s lovely to see young people supporting each other. This just in from St Catherine’s. Ed
Entrepreneurial pupils from Northwood Primary School have chosen to donate the proceeds from their Autumn Trade Fayre to St Catherine’s.
With an international theme everything from boomerangs to Venetian masks were for sale at the Trade Fayre held in November. The school council at Northwood Primary School choose to donate £150 to help children and young people with speech, language and communication disabilities who attend St Catherine’s in Ventnor.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of St Catherine’s, Development Officer Susan Graves said “This is a fantastic achievement by the pupils of Northwood Primary School. They should be very proud of all the wonderful products they made and the amount of money they raised. Their donation will help us buy specialist equipment to be used by the children and young people who attend our school”.
Year 5 pupil Jessica Baker said “We feel that the donation has been given to a very good cause -which we chose, and that the people at St Catherine’s work very hard at helping the children.”
