On Friday, Oakfield Primary School — which faces closure in August 2025 as part of the school place planning — received notification that they have been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM).
The letter they received said
“Congratulations to everyone at Oakfield CE Aided Primary School on attaining the Primary Science Quality Mark.
“We hope this news is shared widely and you celebrate this tremendous achievement.
“While this is a whole school effort, we know that it is Mr Snellings hard work, drive and passion as a science subject leader that has made this happen.
“PQSM is a rigorous process which is not undertaken lightly, and we have great admiration for the schools commitment to the programme.
“Many congratulations on all that you have achieved through the PSQM.”
Well done to all involved.
