Isle of Wight student screenwriter, Ollie Williams, recently learnt that his feature screenplay, ‘My Navy Blue Summer’ has made it into the official selection of one of the fastest growing film festivals, the Oaxaca 2012 Film Festival.
Congratulations to Ollie, who works part time with academically low achieving children whilst studying screenwriting at University of Bournemouth.
Having had the honour of his screenplay being selected, Ollie would love to be able to attend the Film Festival in Mexico next week, realising that it’d be a fantastic networking and pitching opportunity.
He’s asking for help from the community to raise enough money (US$3,000 in eight days) to get himself to Mexico for the festival and is offering something in return for generous donations.
