OnTheWight is always happy to help aspiring writers and journalism students and this week sees the arrival of our latest intern.
Shauna, 18, has just finished her first year studying Journalism (BA Hons) at the University of Huddersfield, and is looking forward to returning to her studies in September and completing her final two years.
Originally from Huddersfield, Shauna visits the Isle of Wight often to stay with family – especially during the summer months.
As well as studying at University, Shauna also does part time work for an academic publishing company called The Charlesworth Group as a marketing assistant, helping them with their marketing activities and news releases.
OnTheWight have plenty of interesting projects for Shauna to cover during her time here, including the Ventnor Fringe Festival, so keep an eye out for her articles published here over the coming week.
