Open Studios: Explore the natural inspirations behind Caroline Underwood’s work

The well-respected Isle of Wight artist, Caroline Underwood, will open her Carisbrooke studio to the public as part of the upcoming Isle of Wight Open Studios 2024 event.

The event offers a unique opportunity to view Caroline’s black and white paintings, drawings, prints, and installations, which are deeply inspired by the sea, sky, and landscape of the Isle of Wight.

A glimpse into artistic inspiration
Caroline’s work captures the essence of the natural environment surrounding her. Through her art, she aims to evoke the beauty and mood of the Island’s coastal and rural landscapes.

In addition to her artistic creations, Caroline considers commissions, making her work accessible to those who wish to bring a piece of the Isle of Wight’s natural beauty into their homes.

Where and when
Isle of Wight Open Studios runs from 23rd August to 8th September 2024.

You can visit Caroline’s studio, 35 Carisbrooke High Street, Newport PO30 1NR, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm.

For those unable to attend during these times, Caroline is accommodating other visits by appointment.
