The inquest of Islander Michael Bishton was heard today at the Isle of Wight Coroner’s Court.
Readers will remember the tragic death of the 24 year old last year and that the legal drug Ivory Wave was linked to Michael’s death.
The Isle of Wight Coroner John Matthews recorded an open verdict today, saying, “The ingestion of this legal high may have been a very strong contributory factor to the behaviour which was out of character.”
We weren’t able to make it along to the inquest this morning, but the Daily Echo has a detailed report of the findings.
Our sincerest thoughts are with Michael’s friends and family today.
