During the summer a large mosaic was made of Hygeia, goddess of health and symbol of Ventnor (based on the signs you see on the way into Ventnor).
It was made by a group of local people, on a mosaic course, with tutor Helen Goodman, as part of the Neighbourhood Learning in Ventnor project.
It is being put up on the side of the bandstand on Ventnor Esplanade.
Come along and see it this Saturday at 5pm when it will be officially “opened” by Ventnor mayor Susan Scoccia and join the group for a drink and a snack.
