Rumours that another Isle of Wight event has been cancelled have been denied by organisers.
In relation to rumours that the Osborne House Concerts with Tom Jones and Steps had been cancelled, Annie Horne told VB, “The situation is being monitored very closely, in particular the ground condition at Osborne.
“We are not cancelling or postponing, but will have to be lead by English Heritage as landowners if the ground is not safe. They are looking at the conditions each day and reviewing the forecast. It has not been cancelled at present.”
Last Night of the Osborne Proms, with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, was due to take place on 21st July, but was cancelled last week due to the waterlogged site.
