The early results reported by the Island’s six secondary schools show that 48% of pupils achieved five A*-C GCSE passes, including English and mathematics, up from 45% in 2014.
The long-awaited school-level 2014 GCSE results (provisional) can be found in the draft paper for the school places consultation which was approved by the Isle of Wight executive last week.
The College reports some excellent GCSE results this year, with some 14% higher than the national average and many individual successes, including Joe Ellis' brother, who despite the incredibly difficult time for the family this summer, managed to achieve superb results. Well done to you all.
