In July 2014, members of the Executive committee voted in favour of introducing a series of changes to parking charges across the Isle of Wight.
The decision was challenged by the Scrutiny Committee, but after consideration by the Executive, the changes remain in place.
Many of those changes came into force earlier this month, including charging at previously free car parks in Ryde and Totland this week.
Residents and visitors parking at Appley, Puckpool car parks and Totland Broadway will now face charges between 8am to 6pm seven days a week.
Don’t be caught out otherwise you’ll receive a £50 parking ticket (£25 if you pay within 14 days).
