With his new album out, Paul Weller is definitely hot at the moment and sure to draw a big crowd for this year’s Summer Madness gig in the fields at Carisbrooke Castle.
Yes folks, tickets (£40 plus booking fee) go on sale today for the gig which takes place on Sunday 29th August.
A whole host of acts have been confirmed for the day long event with the legendary Paul Weller taking to the stage to headline the show at the end of what will hopefully be a long, hot summer day.
Also billed to play are Ventnor’s own, The Bees and Twisted Wheel, The Chords, Imelda May and The Brand New Heavies.

The licensing committee will be hearing the application next Monday morning (10th), but we understand that the organisers have received permission in principle.
