Well done to all who took part in the Pedal for Parkinson’s bike ride at the weekend.
Fifteen members of Team Castle Inn, Sandown took part and managed to raise a whopping £750 for this very worthy cause.
There is no cure for Parkinson’s, which affects 120,000 people in the UK, nor is it known what triggers the debilitating disease.
Amongst those cycling the route from Sandown to Newport and back again to raise money, were five year old Charlie and seventy year old retiree, Fran.
As well as raising the cash , they all had a great day. Well done to you all.
