People Planet Pint launches in Newport this Thursday

Pop into your nearby People Planet Pint gathering and uncover what’s happening in the world of sustainability right in your neighbourhood.

Ditching the typical conference format, the People Planet Pint meetups avoid pitches, PowerPoint presentations, and panels. It’s all about focusing on three core elements: People, Planet, and Pints (or soft drinks).

These events provide an excellent opportunity for those looking to embark on or continue their sustainability journey. Not only do they offer an insight into local environmental actions, but they also offer a platform for attendees to discuss life’s bigger picture and ways to preserve it.

Inclusion at its core
Everyone is welcome at People Planet Pint.

The organisers have gone to great lengths to create an environment where people from all walks of life, regardless of their background or experience, can comfortably learn and exchange ideas about sustainability.

A little incentive
To make the evening even more enticing, attendees who sign up via EventBrite are in for a treat. Upon arrival, they’ll receive a drinks token for the night.

This token generously covers the cost of one’s first drink, up to a value of £6.  You don’t have to drink alcohol, any drink is covered up to the £6 value.

Those who enjoy regular social catch-ups will be pleased to know that this event takes place monthly. Moreover, the first 33 sign-ups for each gathering are in for a complimentary drink.

By signing up to EventBrite, you will be given a drinks token on the evening.

Building sustainable communities
At the heart of the People, Planet, Pint initiative lies a simple yet profound belief: a sustainable future is built on the foundation of connected communities. And what’s a better way to connect, collaborate, and discuss our shared future than over a refreshing drink?
