Yes, Peter King and his quartet will be appearing at The Boathouse on Saturday night.
Peter famously played the opening night at Ronnie Scotts in 1959 (aged only 18) and has since gone on to become a major influence on the British jazz scene. He has accompanied artists as diverse as Tony Bennett, Marlene Dietrich, James Brown and Lauren Bacall and appeared in Anthony Minghella’s ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’.
An absolute must for all jazz fans … and I know there are loads of you out there.
