It won’t be long before the Isle of Wight becomes the Isle of Pink again.
This year as part of the Breast Cancer Campaign’s Isle of Pink, a two hour aerobics session including Zumba, Street Cheer, Broadway Boogie and Pilates hopes to raise vital funds for the cancer charity.
Zumba instructor, Helen Baker, who is leading one of the sessions on the day said: “Pink Aerobics is a fun way to get fit, stay in shape, improve your health and raise vital funds for breast cancer research. Support Breast Cancer Campaign by taking part in the Island’s Pink Aerobics event, it’s the perfect way to get fit and help beat breast cancer.”
It takes place at the end of September at Carisbrooke High School and has been organised by Carisbrooke Central Cluster Extended Service.
Lauren Baskett, Breast Cancer Campaign’s Community Development Manager said, “Pink Aerobics will be a great climax to this year’s Isle of Pink activities. This event is open to women, men and youngsters of all fitness levels so bring all of your friends along and have a great time! With your help we can make the Isle of Pink 2010 the best yet to help the 46,000 people that are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.”
