The sun is shining and there’s loads to do on the Isle of Wight today.
Why not head down to the Ventnor Botanic Garden for the Christmas Food and Gift Fair? Many stalls with great Christmas gifts as well as super food in the Royal Garden Cafe (the mulled wine is heavenly).
After that, head over to Briddlesford Farm for the first of the IW Pannier Market’s Christmas Market.
If you’d like to be entertained this afternoon, why not try the Isle Of Wight Youth Concert Band’s Christmas Concert (two performances) at Medina Theatre.
Ryde Arena has a performance of Peter Pan on Ice Christmas Pantomime and the Winter Gardens plays host to the final performance of Dick Whittington by the Ventnor Theatre Group (we think this may be sold out already, but there might be a chance of some returns).
At 5.30pm the Christmas tree lights are being switched on at the Winter Gardens and Ventnorians are invited to come and enjoy mince pies and mulled wine.
If you fancy something in the evening, there are several Christmas concerts to get you in the festive mood.
