Police are appealing for witnesses and information following after receiving a report of a dog being injured by another dog on Appley beach in Ryde, Isle of Wight on Thursday, August 29, 2013.
Investigating Officer, PC Dunn from Newport Police Station said:
“We are assessing an allegation of a criminal offence under section three of the Dangerous Dogs Act whereby a dog has been dangerously out of control in a public place.
“Enquiries are underway to identify and contact the owner of the second dog accused of the attack.”
