Two men have been arrested following an unprovoked assault on a teenager in Barton Road, Newport yesterday (Sunday, 12 April).
The victim, a 19-year-old man from Shanklin, sustained injuries from stab wounds to his left arm following the attack and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
He has since been discharged.
Two teenagers arrested
A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and bailed to May 28, 2015 pending further enquiries.
