Police have confirmed they were called to a report of a body found at Shanklin cliff this afternoon (Friday 15th January).
The area around Hope Hill has been closed by police and the Coastguard are assisting in the recovery of a woman’s body.
Investigations are ongoing but a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said they were not treating the death as suspicious.
